“Ličke pole” – Lika Style Potatos are definitely the most famous specialty of the area. According to the traditional recipe, it is potato halves that are baked in their skins.

Ćevapi is a grilled dish of minced meat. They are served in group of ten pieces, with chopped onions, “kajmak” – clotted cream cheese (optional), ajvar (optional), and salt.

This recipe is for all meat lovers. Baked veal under iron bell is an old recipe. Coking meat sealed in a container always brings out the best from a good piece of meat. All the juices are absorbed into the potatoes that are baked together with the meat.
